Natalie Portman is a 31 year old Academy Award winning actress of dual American and Israeli citizenship. She has been acting since she was aged 13, her first acting role being the critically acclaimed 'Leon'.
Since then she has starred in, written, produced and directed a number of projects such as V for Vendetta, Star Wars, Garden State, Black Swan and New York, I Love You.
She is proud to have dual American and Israeli citizenship and is fluent in Hebrew. She has paid homage to her Jewish ancestors by playing the role of Anne Frank on Broadway.
She has stated that she'd "rather be smart than a movie star" and to that effect she completed a bachelor's degree in psychology at Harvard University while filming Star Wars. In addition to fluent English and Hebrew, Natalie also speaks conversation French, Spanish, Japanese and German.
